Honestly? Because it's nice to see you being sentimental about something. It really has very little to do with your significant other himself, and more just the way you are when you talk about him.

The most I really know is that I couldn't smile genuinely to save my life, and apparently I tend to just look like I'm judging people in some way.

My best friend does like to tell me that much, at least.
