Good evening.

[The voice that comes over the 'Gear tonight is calm, at least; soft and open, a bit high-pitched perhaps, but generally not unpleasant to listen to. Confident, in a bit of a self-satisfied way. So it goes.]

My name is Solf J Kimblee; I hold the rank of Beta within this organization. I suppose I owe you all an apology for being away from the organization itself for so long.

I think it's time to remedy that a bit.

As one of the field agents in charge of assisting with the training of the new recruits, I would like to extend an invitation to all of you - particularly the new ones that I have yet to meet, although I would like to see those I'm already acquainted with as well. It isn't an order; again, it's just an invitation to talk. I would like to get to know all of you, and to have a fuller understanding of your talents. Should you require orders or simply want something to do, I may have a proposal for you; we'll see.

I would prefer meeting you in person; I'm in the Goldenrod base for the time being, but if you're currently elsewhere, neither time nor money is a problem for me. Let me know where you are; I'll meet up with you.

I must say that I'm pleased with the work I've seen so far, however. Do keep it up, hm?

[Congratulations, Kato, you are officially more perceptive than the entire Briggs army, who caused the mood to drop about that severe collectively and expected Kimblee to not notice. Somehow.

That said, Kimblee is really, really obviously not thrilled about going anywhere near that thing; hello, Lussac, it's nice to know that your first impression of your trainer's senior is him looking at you like he would really quite like you to not exist. He's more than a bit hesitant in his approach, but honestly, the fact that this thing is Kato's actually helps somewhat; it's less that he trusts it because of that and more that he can't look bad in front of his junior, now, can he? We will ignore the part where Mami Tomoe said that sometime prior to Episode Three.

He may smash that thing into that Gengar a bit harder than necessary before backing up like the bench is on fire, however. He really. Really. Really does not do well with Gengars.]

....some of these Pokemon certainly are strange, aren't they. But they're growing well.

Mm, indeed - I've raised a Drifblim myself; they're interesting creatures, really, if a bit...ah, unique-looking.

[Loosely translated: they look stupid as fuck, but they're amusing to make explode on themselves.

Either way, he doesn't seem to have anywhere near as much of an issue with either of these, rather content to stay near them while the process completes; it's obvious that he's fairly interested in Brunel there, however, given that his gaze keeps darting over there.]

This one...I can't say that I'm familiar with it; what can you tell me about it?

What, Brunel? He's a Bronzong, a combination Steel/Psychic type. I caught him on my way back from Olivine City. Fascinating creature; incredibly hardy with some rather interesting Psychic attacks. Even if he does look rather terrifying.

Rather, actually; I may have to borrow him from you as well.

[It's a psychic-type that explodes. Archer kind of linefaces at the "exploding" part when it comes to these things, but he likely won't be too annoyed with the psychic bit.]
