Good evening.

[The voice that comes over the 'Gear tonight is calm, at least; soft and open, a bit high-pitched perhaps, but generally not unpleasant to listen to. Confident, in a bit of a self-satisfied way. So it goes.]

My name is Solf J Kimblee; I hold the rank of Beta within this organization. I suppose I owe you all an apology for being away from the organization itself for so long.

I think it's time to remedy that a bit.

As one of the field agents in charge of assisting with the training of the new recruits, I would like to extend an invitation to all of you - particularly the new ones that I have yet to meet, although I would like to see those I'm already acquainted with as well. It isn't an order; again, it's just an invitation to talk. I would like to get to know all of you, and to have a fuller understanding of your talents. Should you require orders or simply want something to do, I may have a proposal for you; we'll see.

I would prefer meeting you in person; I'm in the Goldenrod base for the time being, but if you're currently elsewhere, neither time nor money is a problem for me. Let me know where you are; I'll meet up with you.

I must say that I'm pleased with the work I've seen so far, however. Do keep it up, hm?

It's a shame you're in Goldenrod now; I just left. See, I've got a target in mind for an attack...

[There's a loud roar that drowns out Ryuunosuke's voice. When he starts speaking again, he's addressing the source of that roar.]

[He doesn't sound very displeased though. From the sound of it, the roar came from beneath the 'Gear. Maybe he's finally learned how to ride that Steelix!]

Anyway, like I was saying, I want to try attacking the Power Plant in Kanto. It's not a huge target and Kanto's been mostly free of attacks, so I doubt the security there will be all that tight. I've just been itching to do something lately, you know?

There are some pretty rare Pokemon here in Kanto; do you want me to see if I can catch you something, sir? You've given me two really great ones and I haven't given you a thing in return! It's only fair, right? I've heard there are some unique ones around the Power Plant, so I'll see what I can find before I attack.

No, no, I certainly haven't returned home; it seems this world still has some use for me yet.

[He doesn't sound concerned at all - he's more amused than anything, actually.]

It's good to see that you're having yourself a good time, however, and I certainly won't say no to whatever you manage to capture; let me know when you return, and how your mission has gone. I'll have something for you, if you do well; unfortunately, it's nothing terribly good for battle, but I think you'll enjoy it regardless.

My attention has been given to some rather ambitious projects lately; I'm still discussing details with my partner, but believe me when I say that I think you'll be very useful to us, should you be willing.

[Really, he ought to make a bit more of a practice of it; if nothing else, it's nice to be back among civilization. He's rather fond of the solitude up north, but a few weeks with next to no one but Archer and Isaac for company, and...well. You get the idea.]

Don't apologize for it; I find that speaking aloud often helps me get my thoughts in order, actually, and I've no opposition to hearing yours. We're both heretics; there's no sense in hiding it from one another.

Well, I've explained my views on God to you before. So I wouldn't say I'm a heretic, exactly. I mean, I guess I hold some controversial beliefs and that could get me labeled as a heretic, but I don't think I'm one.

I don't recall saying anything regarding blasphemy, Mr. Uryuu.

[[Kato's lab is fairly orderly, and any signs of Hydreigon-induced destruction have been forcibly erased (including those unfortunate scrapes on the walls, which took him forever). Pluto himself is nowhere to be seen, for good reason; he's still attempting to take chunks out of his trainer whenever he's released, so Kato has taken to starving him. It's working nicely for his temperament, if not his growth. But that can be improved later.

For now, the scientist is seated at his desk, pouring over what appear to be blueprints. On top of the blueprints are pieces of what used to be a Pokeball; Kato has completely dismantled it. Occasionally he'll pick a piece up and study it, but he quickly moves his attention to his guest as soon as he arrives, smiling (well...smirking, really, but that's just how TR people smile).]]

A pleasure to have you in my lab, sir.

[[As he stands up to greet Kimblee, Kato walks past his Typhlosion, Joule, who is curled around a black and red egg. Along with Joule, Kato has his Lunatone hovering around his head, as always.]]

[Well, well. Someone's certainly keeping busy, though Kimblee honestly hasn't the faintest what Kato's busy doing; mechanical things are far from his forte, after all, and he doesn't foresee that changing anytime soon.

His gaze flicks momentarily to the Lunatone before returning his attention to Kato; he isn't bothered by the thing's presence - he's still mildly weirded out by his own, but that's beginning to pass. ~~Finally.~~ He folds his arms low against his chest, though the gesture is casual as opposed to an attempt to maintain a sense of distance; his expression is open, pleased, but his gaze is sharp.]

[He tips his head a bit toward that Pokéball on the desk.]

I don't really think that's necessary. I get what you were saying, after all. People don't think like us.

[[Without any sort of indication, Ranpu lifts up one of the pieces of the Pokeball and sends it floating towards his trainer, who plucks it out of the air and twirls it between his gloved fingers. Some may find the presence of a Psychic Pokemon in their mind as a hindrance, or an invasion; Kato finds it exhilarating and incredibly useful. He uses Ranpu far more than his starter, Coulomb the Electrode, because he's well aware that Coulomb has that pesky little microchip. Ranpu doesn't have that problem, so Kato has no reservations about sharing his thoughts with the thing. Hopefully they aren't too terrifying for it~]]

I've been discussing a few things with Cobra, things we're thinking of doing; but I won't bore you with the details, especially at this early stage. I take it you were pleased with my work in Olivine?

It was rather impressive, yes, and it seemed rather well-done; I would have liked to see it in person - I imagine that the sound was amazing.

Do let me know next time you plan on destroying something on that scale; I would like to witness the proceedings myself.

Mm, exactly. Their opinions in general matter very little to me; they're interesting as points in arguments, I suppose, but valid for very little else - at the same time, working out how people think is always relevant.
