Yes and no. In my experience, it has to be something that threatens both regions in a way that isn't anything that can be stopped by humans. Other times they just show up because it suits them.

This was the first time that I've seen what I'm assuming is the Creator, however.

It's a sad world we live in when the almighty creator is a llama that got stuck halfway when it tried to jump through a hula hoop.

I admit I wasn't quite expecting that - it's a bit stranger than the other ones I've seen. Even when compared to the behemoths we were dealing with the day before, it was a little on the unusual side.
