(Carmen, you probably want this one.)
"State your name and whatever business you may have with me; I'll return your call once circumstances allow."
[Please state in the subject line if OOC planning is preferred and we can handwave like the wind, but otherwise IC will be assumed!]

Where credit is due.
That’s indeed quite a tale
And a helpful one too —
For it’s said in a crisis
That wise is the man
Who like one of action
Does think out his plan,
But when time comes to act,
The reverse; then, he ought
To act out that plan
Like a person of thought.
As yet, I’ve not attacked;
I’ve just watched them advance
Though I fear that if I were
To go take a chance
And launch an assault
Quite the same as you tried,
It’d come out the same
And my hopes’d be denied.
But of course, I would never
Just leave it at that;
There are always more ways
Than one to skin a cat.
If attacks will not work,
Then that way, we can’t top them
But we don’t have to beat them;
We just have to stop them.
The bigger they come,
The more gravity’s gripping.
So it’s torque that might save us —
Ever heard of cow tipping?

Isn't greatly complex;
A fair bit's quite rural,
And as such, the prospects:
I've mentioned the army,
In which many enlist -
I'm that sort myself,
Really, all that I've missed
Are mining and farming,
Perhaps welding as well.
(And when given a blow-torch...
...well, I wouldn't excel.)
So I think I've heard of it,
Just in passing, perhaps;
And I think in my knowledge
There're quite a few gaps -
See, I'm from the cold north
So it's nothing I've done
But I get the idea
And it does sound quite fun...

Just the basics of science,
But upon them I think
We can put our reliance.
For within every creature
Be it small or it great
There’s a center of gravity;
‘Round that, we must rotate
The behemoth until
Like said cow, it does tip.
You might push on its head,
Or its feet, you might trip,
But regardless of how
You make that come around,
All we need are results:
Put that thing in the ground.

Well, I surely approve!
I'm a bit of an expert,
Which I'll let this task prove
But I can't say I don't
Owe you my gratitude
For this plan, so I'll grant it.
(I would hate to seem rude.)
I do have others with me,
Though I don't fear for them.
They're competitive, you see,
Just as much as I am,
So to face down these creatures
I'll take them also -
Though I know one will likely
Give me such a flat "No"
He's going to come, if
He likes it or not.
(Though my persuasion consists
Sometimes of cheap shots
Now isn't the time
To bicker or fight,
If we intend to take
These large things down tonight.)
Keep your updates frequent;
I would like to know
How it goes on your end...
Ah, and before I go
To re-instigate battle,
Do a favor for me;
Try not to get yourself
Maimed too terribly
Since a good rival is
Quite a hard thing to find!
So don't get yourself killed -
That is, if you don't mind.

(Though I hope you'll remember
How our interests aligned
On this day in December
I'm not asking for much —
Just the small courtesy
That our skirmishes stay
Between just you and me.
You've got friends with you up there;
I've got some of my own,
But the rivalry's better
When we leave them alone.
Do you find those terms fair?
I suspect that you might
From the things that you've told me
Ere this cold winter's night.)
Rest assured, you'll hear from me.
Though the chances seem bleak,
I've a knack for surviving,
(And I am, as we speak.)
It's been fun, but I've business
With the foes at the door,
So I'll wish you good luck,
Don't forget to keep score,
And now give my attention
To them, not this rhyme.
Merry Christmas, dear Rocket —
And I'll see you next crime.
