As grateful as I am that it's no longer raining animals down from on high, it's debatable whether this is much better.

[And there's a shot of the interior of a florist shop – one that's normally well-kept, from the look of it, though the "normally" is a bit marred today; it's not quite bull-in-a-china-shop level of disarray, but it's obvious someone's been going through the flowers with reckless abandon today.

Or, well, something, given that the next shot is showing the area behind the counter; that...well, that certainly is a pair of very young-looking and clearly sleepy goats back there, all folded in on themselves and solidly out cold.]

Don't misunderstand me, they're adorable, but they're making it somewhat difficult for me to work.

As for the more important matters, for those who care: I'm in Goldenrod City for the time being – are these things everywhere, or just here? And it's worth noting that, like with the cats and dogs from earlier, they're not anything I recognize, either.

[And Kimblee can be found in that florist shop for the better part of the day today, actually, if anyone wants to speak to him in person; this is apparently just something he's going to do with himself when he's not terrorizing the network. It's mundane work to be sure, but it's surprisingly calming; granted, if you ask him to arrange anything for you, it's likely going to be very passive-aggressive if he doesn't feel you're being creative enough in your requests, so tread lightly lest you hand your beloved something that translates to "SORRY ABOUT YOUR TASTE."]

That's what I've been doing as well - giving the ones I find to people I know, I mean. There have been a few of them wandering in and out of the shop today.

That's good. Do you think these Pokemon are very rare? I mean...I know many have shown up today, but I asked Nurse Joy about them this morning, and she says she's never seen anything like them before. The same goes for the cats and the dogs.

Maybe, maybe not. We had a large number of unusual Pokémon show up in February as well - they were just about everywhere, and no one had ever seen them before. We also had an incident a few years ago where new Pokémon just seemed to show up in the wild despite them having simply not existed beforehand. It was incredibly strange both times, but they settled down eventually.

Granted, this is closer to the incident in February, and I don't know what happened to those swarms, either. They arrive and then they quite simply either taper off or vanish entirely. It's incredibly odd, and no one's found an explanation for it yet.

I see...actually, since the cats and dogs showed up, I don't think I've seen any more falling from the sky. Then, right after that, all of these little goats showed up. People were saying there were cats and dogs falling from the sky all over Johto...

I wonder if these goats are everywhere right now too, or not.

[Maybe it would be a good idea to call someone currently in a different area to check...]

Ah, I've been in contact with a few people about that - they've mentioned that they aren't in most other areas. Obviously, I don't have contacts in every city, but it seems the goats are decidedly more local.

That probably explains why there are so many of them, then.

You think so...? Simply because they're so concentrated in one area, then?

I think that might be why, yes. Though this is the first time I've ever seen a swarm of Pokemon...so I can't say I know for sure.

I've been here for several years by now; the swarms aren't usually this aggressive. We'll see how it continues to go, however - it's entirely possible this one will be gone tomorrow, if the current trend holds.

I wonder where they all come from...it's hard to believe that they can just show up from nowhere for one day or so, and then disappear without a trace the next.
