You like to refer to yourself as the idealist between us, but I doubt that it extends to believing you're getting a sincere answer.

I can't say I know what our beloved Commander did with his; I knew better than to stay around to find out. However, I was greatly amused at mine, I will admit; I wasn't sure if I should wear it or frame it. I have yet to attempt the former.

May I ask how you managed it? I don't quite see how constructing such a thing was physically possible in such a short period of time, given the way those ledges work.

They're given to those who have extraordinary power - not necessarily in combat, though that is a factor for some, but for others it's a sign of control over their element, and the strength of will and conviction required to carry out their work. Those who receive such things have proven they're capable of what most are not.

Bluntly put, they're given to those with the power to change the world.
