[Aaaaaand when Kimblee's feed comes alive this evening, there are a few things that are immediately obvious over the video.

The first is the Pokémon curled up in the background; they're outside, and it's rather obvious that the poor bb is worn out from a recent training session, seeing as it's...completely and utterly asleep despite the reasonably early hour. It would be almost cute, were the Pokémon in question not a gigantic demon mammoth, but to each their own, really.

The second is that Kimblee is looking ridiculously smug today.]

You know, I'd been wondering if there would come a point when these creatures would stop gaining levels; it was logical to assume that point would come, of course, given that they stop learning new skills eventually, but at the same time, I'd almost feared that reaching it would be disappointing.

Believe me, it isn't.

[Seriously. Given that Kimblee's ego is usually strong enough to strike with roughly the force of a million gods, at this point you cannot grasp the true form. It's an Eldritch abomination that would make Pride flinch, and that's saying something on so many levels.]

I believe that means I'll be awaiting an eventual challenge from at least one of you, hm?

[That last part is actually aimed at Isaac, but if people want to take a shot at him for something...well. He's hit level 100 with two of them, not just Carlisle, this week; he'll be decidedly less inclined to tell them no.]

[ACTION]

[Anyone on the outskirts of Mahogany Town will likely come across Kimblee this evening; he doesn't mind the cooler temperatures up north and as such he'll be outside, alternating between chilling next to his sleeping murdermammoth and...playing with a rather adorable baby deer with flowers on its head.

You know. As you do.

Lizaveta will likely get all up in his business during video feeds, because he has yet to teach her the meaning of "being rude" and why we don't do it; he'll have to...work on that eventually, won't he.]

[Lizaveta, who'd wandered a brief way in favor of finding some grass to frolic in nearby once Kimblee had started with this discussion, comes back over a few paces, headtilting all the while. Once she's at a decent enough distance to be filmed without being a blurry formless thing, there's a...brief jittercam moment while Kimblee turns the Gear to get a good shot of her.

+1 happydeer on the feed, Gorthan. And, to her credit, she does seem like a sweet little thing.]

[For a moment, Gorthan simply stares wide-eyed at the... incredibly cute deer, completely dumbfounded.]

Ah... a fawn?

[His features relax into a smile then. The cute, it's simply... contagious, really.]

You really have a tendency to consort with charming, whimsical creatures, Red Lotus. This one... is especially lovely, I'd say.

Well, this one was more the result of Johto's whims than my own; however, I can't complain - she is rather charming, after all.

Your travels appear to have taken you quite far, don't they, Red Lotus? I am curious to learn what you have been devoting yourself to, besides, obviously, Pokémon training.

[He'll just be turning that camera view back on himself, then, for the sake of conversation; excuse the jittercam. Lizaveta headtilts at him again before going back to doing...god only knows what; Kimblee knows she's a high enough level by now to take care of herself in the grass.]

I've had a few personal affairs to get in order before I return to Goldenrod City; however, that seems to have been dealt with well enough for now. Otherwise, I can't say that I've been doing anything terribly interesting; judging from our last conversation, I'd say you're the one who's been doing all of the worthwhile things.

Ah, I would not quite put it that way. My work can be tedious as well. And I keep needing new insight, as I told you. New perspectives. I am thinking of traveling for a while. The little I know of Ecruteak and Olivine keeps beckoning me to those cities.

Are you collecting badges as well?

I am - I've managed to obtain four of them within the last two months. It's simple enough, assuming your levels are sufficient, but at the same time it's more satisfying than I thought it would be.

Though now I'm curious - what purpose do you have for going to either of those cities you've mentioned? Is there anything specific, or is it just for the sake of clearing your head?

I see... Could it be that these Gym Leaders are really not all they are advertised to be?

As regards Ecruteak, I wish to learn of its history and legends. That famous destroyed temple, especially, is something I wish to see.

And as for Olivine, an acquaintance of mine lives there. I plan to visit her.

Well, yes and no. Bear in mind that I'm facing them with something that just reached its maximum potential; I'd imagine for those who aren't terribly overleveled, they would be incredibly formidable. And besides, given what it is they do, I believe the point is to be able to defeat them eventually; it's more a rite of passage than something that's supposed to be nearly impossible.

[He'll leave the bit about Ecruteak alone for now; the rest, however...]

A female friend in Olivine, Gorthan...still seeking out the ladies, or is this something else?

...or the company of gentlemen, should your taste be aimed more in that direction. That's equally valid, I suppose. But either way, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Women are fascinating creatures that I have not had quite enough opportunities to study during my life. If I am to develop romantic interests, it is the female sex that would be their object.

That said, the woman I will be visiting is happily married, and I have absolutely no intention to ruin that in any way. I am merely her friend.

Ah, I can't say that I blame you on either count - as lovely as women tend to be, I've never seen the appeal in trifling with the married ones; marriage is often a horribly messy affair as it is, and if you're going to be "the other man", so to speak, that implies the woman you're with is already in a messier affair than most. If she's truly happily married, then you wouldn't be able to ruin it regardless of what you do - you only stand to ruin your relationshop with her, and that's not really what anyone wants, now, is it? No, it's best to stay out of the affairs of married women, I don't blame you at all.
