Honestly, I would much rather think that there is a reason that we're here in the first place. It makes things seem a lot less...perhaps hopeless isn't the word I'm looking for, but that way of thinking makes a bit more sense at the very least. Even knowing it was something that did it is better than nothing at all.
It may be improbable, but I have to wonder if we're meant to discover this possible reason as to why on our own, or if it is something that will reveal itself over time. I haven't been here long enough to make a statement on that.
