No. Don't get me wrong, you make a good argument on paper - but really, Mustang, your reasoning is horribly flawed.

The first is that I already know that there are some in this world that are capable of disarming bombs and similar weapons. I'm sure you haven't forgotten what occurred in December - the incident is still commonly cited as an example of Team Rocket's recent activity. It's common knowledge. It's likewise common knowledge that the bombs that were planted during said incident were eventually disarmed; even if, theoretically speaking, all of those who disarmed the bombs on the Magnet Train had left Johto, it would be completely unreasonable to assume that no one else bothered to learn after that incident, or that none of the new arrivals were equally skilled.

So that rules out the potential for benefit as far as information goes. As for posing some sort of distraction, I'm surprised that that even crossed your mind - this incident involved explosives, as you've repeatedly pointed out. You've also pointed out that you thought of me immediately when that knowledge became clear. The association is too strong; there are far too many people here from Amestris that would be able to single me out as one of those with an affinity for explosions. It's a bit of a poor distraction if I'm immediately associated with it anyway.

So essentially, we're back where we started - the logical conclusion is that I have no reason to associate with that man. I stand to gain nothing from the association, and if anything, doing so would actually be to my detriment.
