But that's neither here nor there, really. I don't protect others at detriment to myself; I've done more than enough to protect my own reputation. And besides, you seem as though you'll prove to be at least a reasonably valuable asset in the future; I wouldn't want to tarnish that potential in the eyes of the organization this early.
