It boils down to an argument of semantics. We have certain talents that we've been taught, under the general understanding that they're supposed to be used for the benefit of the people. A large number of people tend to interpret this as requiring a pacifistic stance by default. However, this branch of the military posits that serving one's country is benefiting its people.
