[Well. The previous night's sleep was absolutely hideous, for reasons that Kimblee really doesn't want to discuss, especially not with the network as a whole; however, the lack of contact with people is possibly the last thing he wants.
So. Polling the audience time again. Let's do this thing.]
While I know that this world has a tendency to pull some strange sorts of mayhem when it comes to bringing people here, have any of the rest of you found people from a different version of the world you came from? I'm not talking about different points on the timeline - though if any of you have experienced anything particularly strange on that front, I'm interested in hearing about that as well. What I'm referring to are instances of the world being identical up to a point, and the subsequent differences led to the timeline of your world and the timeline of this alternate version being entirely different.
From what I understand, this can lead to things such as another version of you living out an alternate version of your life; an example of what things might have been, if you made different choices. I know that it's a popular theory, philosophically, but have any of you received irrefutable evidence that that's the case in whatever reality you came from?
Because I have.

[But that's not...entirely right, is it? No, during this last odd period, with the powers and the newcomers that never last long -
Hmmm. Let him just...lock this, all right.]
...What can you tell me about Greed? I'm not familiar with him - he's the only one of your sort that I haven't met, actually - but I recall meeting a version of him here.

when
[text → locked 2/2]
nevermind, it was one of those weekends, right?
I know plenty about my world's Greed, he's the second oldest after me. but I've never met your version so I don't know if they're anything alike. Mine was here for a few months three years ago, but I haven't seen him since.
What did the one you met look like?
no subject
He also mentioned not getting along with his siblings at all.
no subject
But not getting along with the rest of our group sounds about right. He never did like being told what to do, I wouldn't be surprised if that carried over to the other Greed.
Did he say anything else?
no subject
Were you close to him at all? The version you knew, I mean, while he was here.
no subject
[...oh dear that question. That got some, uh...impressive facial contortions out of Envy.]
hell no I wasn't close to him. He was an idiot and a traitor. We just worked together for a long time back home, so I knew him pretty well.
[It's not like he misses him being here or anything!!]
no subject
[It's pointed, yes, but he'll leave it be if he's told to.]
Did you know this other version of myself as well?
no subject
And nah, I didn't know the other you. I knew of him, and I guess I helped him get out of prison without meaning to, but that was about it.
no subject
As I said, I knew six of you, though not all of you were to talk to. Sloth was one that I saw a couple of times but never spoke to, though I'm fairly sure I wasn't missing much in that regard, as he seemed a bit slow in several ways; when it comes to Lust, Gluttony, and the other version of you, I knew all of you back in Ishval. I was in contact with Wrath often after I left frequently, and I suppose you could say I worked with Pride for a while. This was my first time seeing Greed at all, though; it was...an experience, I suppose.

I'm in the same boat you are there. I met the other versions while they were here, except for they other Envy and Greed. But I'm not interested in meeting Envy, and I doubt I'd want Greed around either.
no subject
And I think you'd be unable to stand the Envy I know; you're a bit too similar in temperament for that.
