You're the first one I've heard of having the same kind of situation. I suppose it's rare for worlds to have different versions of them.
Then again, the worlds must have copies of themselves. It's not really possible for a world to freeze in time multiple times on different timelines. If everyone came from the exact same world, they all should be from the exactly same point in time.
When you think about it like that, it makes more sense that there might be differences in the worlds even if the basics would be the same. I guess it's just not that common.
