[There's a bit of a delay between Temeraire's response and Kimblee's own; no sense in getting the device wet, and it'll give him some time to compose himself besides. And...honestly, it's very fortunate that he's unfamiliar with Earth history and what have you, because if he were to have at least a passing understanding of it he would have told the guy to at least make it a believable lie, if one's going to lie so barefacedly.
But as it stands, he doesn't recognize this "Napoleon" person, nor does he see why it may be a little odd that he apparently had dragons, and as such he can roll with this perfectly well, thank you.]
