...Well, I can certainly understand why, if for no better reason than I'm sure it'd be far more comfortable; I consider it the same way with the powers and abilities, myself - they're a fundamental part of who we are, back where I'm from, it's strange being separated from it.

Not nearly as much as shifting species entirely, however, I'm sure.
