explosivecombat: (And that's verbatim)

I've heard of starships and the like from someone else before, but unfortunately they still aren't anything that I can wrap my head around, really.

However, this...faster-than-light business - that defies physics altogether, doesn't it? I mean, most things I've heard of since coming here are just manipulations of physics that haven't been harnessed or understood by those without the technology to do so - things such as flight and various weaponry, I mean. Faster-than-light travel would more or less require breaking the laws of the universe, wouldn't it? Assuming that it would require infinite energy to reach the speed of light, and - ah, but I'm digressing, aren't I?

You could say that physics are an interest of mine; perhaps I would be interested in seeing this Outlaw Star of yours, sometime.
