Very well, then. I believe it was a Forretress? Admittedly, I received a fairly large quantity of Pokemon around the same time because my acquaintance disappeared again, as did Major Alex Louis Armstrong, my other traveling partner. It's certainly been hideously annoying on all fronts, in that respect.
